For
years, Felixstowe International College has continued to develop its
facilities and broaden the scope of its educational opportunities.
Today it is perceived as a happy forward-looking school, maintaining
the best standards of independent education.
 The
College is primarily a boys' and girls' boarding school, catering
for pupils from 9 to 16 years. Through boarding at Felixstowe, our
pupils learn to live and share with others, and they often form
close friendships. Boarding encourages them to be self-reliant
without weakening the family relationship. At all times boys and
girls are supervised and cared for by the resident housemistress
(who is a trained First Aider) assisted by other staff.
A wide range of free time activities during
evenings and weekends make a valuable addition to the academic and
creative work of the classroom. On Saturdays and Sundays we organize
a variety of stimulating activities, which cover visits to nearby
towns.
Most of our meals, served in the dining room on the first floor,
are cooked in traditional English style. However, to help boys
and girls feel at home, occasionally some food is cooked in
Korean style.
We are registered with a local doctor
and a trained Nurse attends the College when needed. Medical
and dental care is free for all pupils of the High School.
