AIM   The Pre-University Course offers students the chance to prepare for university entrance in Britain once they have become confident in the English language and their own ability to use their academic skills to pursue their studies effectively. Students are, of course, advised on the most suitable university and, if appropriate, place on a university foundation course for a year, in order to reach the required academic standard.

 CURRICULUM   Designed to suit Students needs over a period of 6 to 9 months this course offers intensive English language tuition, Study Skills and social orientation. Over 30 hours a week of intensive tuition is provided, concentrating mainly on the above, but with the addition of such topics as English culture and literature, media studies, community work, etc.

 ACCOMMODATION   Students can be accommodated within the College premises. Accommodation with English families can be arranged and home-stay definitely provides a useful experience of the English lifestyle.

 ACTIVITIES   The Pre-University course is not all academic. Just as important for students who have chosen to study in Britain is learning how to cope with shopping, the weather, medical care, banking, budgeting, food, faith and religion, travel and transportation. They are also introduced to local social activities.
